Which curtain heading type do I need?
Pencil pleat curtains: This a traditional heading for curtains and is suitable for use on either a curtain track, rail or a pole. Pencil pleat curtains have a tape on the reverse for use with any curtain hooks. If you are using a pole you will need to have curtain rings (as shown in the picture) which are widely available.
Eyelet ring top curtains: These curtains are only suitable for use on a curtain pole. These curtains have 1.5” (38mm) diameter rings in brushed chrome which are simple and easy to fit by sliding onto most standard size poles with a diameter of 28mm. We would not suggest poles with a bigger diameter as the opening and closing sliding motion of the curtains could be affected.
Tab top curtains: These curtains are only suitable for use on a curtain pole. These curtains have an approx. tab top opening of around 3” (75mm) from top to bottom which are simple and easy to fit by sliding onto most standard size poles with a diameter of 28mm. We would not suggest poles with a bigger diameter as the opening and closing sliding motion of the curtains could be affected.
What size curtains do I need?
For the width of your curtains you will need double the size of your window to allow for a nice gather. For the drop you will need to measure from where the curtains will start down to where you would like them to finish. We have a really easy to use guide on measuring up click here for more help.
Will I get a pair of curtains or a single curtain?
Where you see a PAIR of curtains the pack will contain 2 curtains of the listed size. (Unless otherwise stated in the product description) For example 46”x90” pair of curtains would contain two curtains each at 46” wide x 90” long.
How do I know if you have stock?
We try very hard to fill all orders so if we don’t have stock then we don’t show it on our website.
You are not showing an option available for the size I want?
If the size that you’re looking for is not showing this means that we do not have that size available, sorry.
Do you offer a made to measure or alteration service?
We do not offer a made to measure or alteration service, all of our curtains are ready made to allow for a good prices and a quick delivery.
How much is delivery?
UK and Northern Ireland:
FREE delivery when you spend £50
£4.50 for orders over £10
£2.50 for orders under £10
Ireland carriage is £15 on all orders
Do you take telephone orders?
We don’t have the facilities available to take your payment securely over the telephone so we don’t take orders this way. We will never ask for your credit or debit card details at any time.
Which payment methods do you accept?
All of our payments are taken through the secure payment system Sage pay which accepts all major credit cards and also PayPal
Are my payment details safe?
We use Sage pay which is a secure payment system where all details are encrypted to the highest level. SO yes your details are very safe.
How will my personal details be used?
We will NOT pass your details onto any third party except for the purpose of delivery. You will have the choice when giving us your details whether to be added to our mailing list where we will send you an occasional email with special offers and new products which we think you might find interesting.
How will I know if my order has gone through?
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been placed.
I would like to change or cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to make any changes to your order before it leaves us. You can do this by filling out the form on the contact us page.
Can I choose a different delivery address?
Yes, you will be given the opportunity during checkout to give us whichever delivery address you would like.
How long will it take for delivery?
You will usually get your delivery within 2-5 working days. We will send you an email when we have dispatched your order and aim to do this in a maximum of 3 working days. We use Royal Mail 1st class and DPD courier service, in both cases you should receive your order within 2 working days of dispatch.
What if I’m not at home when the delivery arrives?
Don’t worry both Royal Mail and DPD will leave a card telling you that they’ve been and give instructions on how to arrange redelivery, or if you prefer, where you can collect your parcel from.
Can I track my parcel?
Leave us your mobile number when ordering and if we send your item by DPD you’ll receive a text message with a delivery date and also a 1 hour time slot on the day of delivery. The text will also give you options to change your delivery to another day.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, we do accept returns. We have a great 60 day money back guarantee on any unwanted items. So if you change your mind or it’s not quite right then just post it back and we’ll give you a full refund.
What should I do if the item I have received is faulty?
If you have received faulty or incorrect item then we are extremely sorry and we would appreciate it if you could contact us, we will put things right as soon as possible. We sometimes offer an exchange or replacement but of course a return and full refund may also be done if it is deemed the best resolution.
